ALL WILL BE SAVED
That has a resounding ring to it!
Imagine, there is indeed life after death!
We know this to be true, because Paul says so.
Paul received this life-changing insight from, his teacher, The Spirit of God,.
What further proof could be forthcoming?
We know that God is real..not man’s imagination or “creation” as some believe.
We know this because He sent His “messengers” to me.
This is positive proof, because who else would have the power to do so?
They did’nt just come on their own volition..they were sent for a specific purpose.
The only other entity with such God-given power would be Satan, the ruler on earth, but he would be the last one to promote Paul, about whom my play was being prepared.
The Adversary/Satan is aptly named because he represents everything that is contrary to that which God represents, and opposes God’s chosen people.
God chose Paul for a mission unlike those of the other Apostles...singled out, made special.
Whereas Satan, as explained in an earlier blog, saw to it that Paul’s followers would be martyred, and his teaching obliterated to most, and replaced by that which is completely antithetical to that of Paul’s, and correspondingly that of God.
There is, however, a caveat for some..necessity for a "second death".
Who will be spared from a second death?
The answer of course is those chosen by God. T he ones with the names in the Book of Life.
We know that those in the “book” would not be sinless.for all have sinned, save one.. Jesus. He was incapable of sin, because he was filled with the Spirit of God..
If he did not elect to be killed, he would be capable of living through time immemorial.
Were any human to be sinless that would mean he/she would not die.
Why?
Because the final sin is death, and that is the last sin that Jesus’s sacrifice defeated, and why it is there is life after death.
We don’t know who will undergo the seond death, anymore than we know whose name is in the Book of Life.
We can suppose the great killers of mankind, like Genghis Khan, Hitler, Stalin, and the list goes on, but maybe not. Who’s to say they were not”tools” of God’s design? Put on earth for a specific purpose.
So, there are too many unknowns, regarding whose to enjoy or undergo what, after death, but there is one group whose destiny is known, “believers”.
"Believers" will most certainly be included in the “Book”, not undergo a second death, not because they are “worthy”, but because God chose us before the disruption of the world.
If "believers" are indeed a part of the body of Christ Jesus, then how would our fate be otherwise?
Christ Jesus will be the judge at the Great White Throne, when He returns to earth to rule for a thousand years..
How could we not be there as well?
Once again “believers” are simply those of us who believe what Paul teaches, and because we were chosen by God, He gives us the grace to understand Paul’s teachings so that we can believe! paulnbob
