103..NEWNESS OF LIFE

In Romans, Paul speaks of the "newness of life".

If you were a "born again" Christian, you might think that is what happens, when you are born again, but Paul has already explained, and as have I, that you are not born again while alive.

One may experience some sort epiphany and believe that he/she are filled with the Spirit, and suddenly become very "religious", but that's not it, nor is it  experiencing a "newness of life".

Paul states clearly that believers have experienced a newness of life, in that we are distinguished as being with Christ at His death, and again with Him in His life.  We know from his writings that we are a part of the body of Christ, and this is an extension of that.

He goes further to say that we" should be walking in newness of life", meaning that one day we will be roused as He was and thus walking in "newness of life".

This blessing is given us for the glory of God, and it will certainly come to pass..paulnbob
