3. WHY PAUL 'N ME
Why do I believe that the teachings of Paul are meant for me?
Because Paul was separated by God to bring His special message to the GENTILES. I' m not a Jew, so I'm a Gentile. To me that's a simple explanation. It doesn't mean that what the other disciples have to say isn't interesting, but their terrestrial message was not meant for me. So, it's Paul 'n me
The other Apostles, Peter, et al were sent to the diaspora that was Israel and the Jews, scattered throughout the world. Some went as far as India to bring the message of Jesus.
Peter set himself up in Babylon. His letters indicate this is so. Some like to say that was another name for Rome, but that wasn't so. The inference that "Babylon"was another name for Rome didn't come about until after REVELATION..long after Peter was dead.
I don't believe Peter ever set foot in Rome, and why should he have?
I know this is blasphemy to some, but his mission to was bring Jesus' message to Israel . It would stand to reason that Peter, the leader of the remaining 12 disciples, following the death of James, would establish his ministry in Babylon, where the greatest concentration of Jews were.
Now, why did God choose to separate Paul from the others to deliver His special message,?
I'll give my reasons tomorrow..bob4Paul
