EMPTIED HIMSELF

There are some who would have us believe that Jesus was part human and part god..witthout making clear  the percentage of each.

Of course, we know. better.

First, because it’s difficult to imagine that such a thing is possible, however; there were beings on earth, from antiquity (before the flood), where fallen angels cohabited with the sons and daughters of God..part human, part angel were the offsprings.

They were called Nephilin, and they were giants! (This I read of in THE MARRED FACE OF HEAVEN).

Goliath was an example of the result of this God frorsaken union and said to be about 14 feet tall, and he was by no means the tallest of that race of the misbegotten.

Nimrod was also said to be the product of angel and man, and he was evil.

So, difficult as it is for us to understand or accept, apparently it would be possible for Jesus live on  earth, part man, part divine.

But, the Christ, the Son of God “emptied himself”, when He became Jesus, as Paul writes in Philippians.

He entered this earth the way that you and I did, by birth of woman.

According to the account in THE MARRED FACE OF HEAVENS, this took place on September 26, 2 B.C (I told you this book is very  revealing).

He emptied himself from His lofty position in the heavens, and became human like you and I.

Well, not exactly..true he was human, but He was filled with theSpirit of God..the Great Comforter.

In this way He was incapable of sinning.

Paul goes further to say that, after emptying Himself,, He became a slave to serve His master, God the father.

What is a slave?

A human being who is owned by and subject to another’s bidding and divested of all freedom and personal rights.

God’s bidding to Jesus was to die on the cross.

Do you think He wanted to be crucified?

In the garden He sweated blood, pleading with the Father to relieve Him of this terrible mission..but finally, as a slave, submitted, because it was God’s will.

As a “slave” he humbled Himself, responding to the Father’s bidding and bore the supreme humiliation and agony of the cross.

This human, Jesus writhing in agony, called out “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me!”

It was the moment that God turned away from Him, and  His Spirit abandoned  him, leaving Him to suffer alone, and the “sinless one” took on the sins of the world.

Why?

For the glory, not of Himself, of God, and to wipe away the sins of the world for all time, for all mankind.

In doing God’s bidding, this“slave” makes it possible, in the end, for all to be reconciled to God..paulnbob
