35..WHY PAUL RECAP?

I wasn't sure I was going to come back, but here I am..20 more pages, and I hope I don't lose any like B4..'costs money.

For the new readers, and by way of a refresher for us, let's take another look at why Paul is the one disciple in which we should have interest:

To start with, he was especially selected and separated from the others.  Why?

To bring the message to the Gentiles..the others were scattered to bring the message to Israel. Now, I'm not saying that the Jews were not included in his efforts, they were.  He even said, "To the Jews first and then the Greeks". But, if you the reader are a non-jew, his teachings are meant specifically for you.

And also he was chosen to bring a special message to us, not revealed to the other disciples.

But what clinched it for me, is who his teacher was..The Spirit of God, and alternately referred to as the Spirit of Jesus.  It was all I needed to know.

So, there you have reasons why Paul is my teacher and I hope yours.

Now, the messages that Paul received were parceled out a little at a time, so as  not to overwhelm him with the ultimate  truth." When i was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, but when I became a man, I set aside childish things".

Paul fed his followers the teachings  a little at a time, as well.  For, like him, he didn't want to overwhelm them, either.

Everybody in this world wants to know the 3 most important things in life.  Paul makes them known to all who have the grace to understand. They are:

Where do we come from?

Why are we here?

Where are we going?

Is there a better reason for us to know his teachings?  bobnpaul
