140..GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS

I was searching for  a subject   to write about, and as usual UNSEARCHABLE RICHES provides the answer.

Righteousness is defined as “the quality of being morally right or JUSTIFIABLE".

Now,  some  consider  righteousness of God as being  elusive  in distinguishing that attribute of God from “holiness”.

But it is not ‘difficult for the Concordant   Publishing writer of UNSEARCHABLE RICHES to distinguish the difference.

Holiness  is “the state of being holy”,  and is a stated attribute of God.  God is holy, set apart,  perfect and  transcendent.

The key to understanding  the righteousness of God is based on the ACTION  taken by Him. He justifies all sins,   because of His “righteousness”.

He had promised to do this, and it is done!

 Why has He done this?

Because of the faith of Jesus Christ, His son.

So, we realize that  ONLY  through the  sacrifice of the human,  Jesus could  sin be “justified”.

From the moment Jesus became aware  on earth,  He knew what His ultimate  purpose was, His reason for “being”..to sacrifice Himself, for the “righteousnes” of God.  And as a graceous gift to all mankind  He accomplished this, became the sacrificial “lamb”.

And the righteous God  fulfilled His promise by justifying ALL of our sins..paulnbob
