BELIEVERS

Paul uses “believers” as a  term for his followers, alternatively  with  ecclesia.

A believer is defined as “an adherent of a particular religion”, and religion is defined as “any system or belief and worship”,

A very broad description, but one that suits those of us who follow Paul, or more appropriataely “believe” in what Paul teaches.

But even more descriptive of “Believers” and more exacting in our belief, is that we believe that we are of Christ, an integral part of the body of Christ, and that His lot is that of ours.

It’s almost impossible to believe that we are a part of this divine body, but I believe it, because Paul says it’s so.

And he was taught by Christ’s Spirit and God’s Spirit..that’s quite   a pair to learn from!

Jesus’ crucifixion is one that has a profound effect on us, because everything in our belief starts with that.

As Jesus was resurrected, then vivified, and became Christ Jesus, so we will be too, at the appropriate time, or else we couldn’t be a “part” of His body.

Wither He goeth so goeth we, following His return to earth and into the heavens..paulnbob
