It took awhile and prodding by Glyn Williams to finally make me realize that Paul's teachings were for me..a Gentile.  No longer was I to keep the Sabbath or other Jewish holy days, and slowly I slipped away from the hold of The World Wide Church of God.  And as metioned before, devoured more and more of the pamphlets by AE Knoch, the co-author of the Concordant Bible, and original leader of what became the Concordant Publishing Co.  That was the name of the bible study that I attended, at which Paul's teachings were made clearer and clearer to me.

So, the actor set about writing his first play.  When I completed the first act.  I searched for a director.  If you decide to write and perform in your own one-person play, make sure that you don't direct yourself..it's like incest.  Anyway I found one through an appeal in a throw-away trade paper.

He was thinking of writing a one-man play  about Einstein, so he took on the role.  Eventually we had something that I could present to invited ministers, by way of an audition piece.  Several ministers attended at this Episcopal church, that agreed to have it presented gratis. Incidentally, I was half-way raised in the Episcopal church, but later in life the trappings and incense got the better of me.

The presentation went well, at least it gave those in attendance an idea of what could be. A couple of the pastors agreed to have me schedule the presentation, upon  completion of the play.

Now, I was working in earnest, I had venues in which to present my play, SAUL-PAUL. I was a playwrite! All I had to do was complete the play and find a new director. The first director stepped aside and started writing his play.

After completing the second act, I set about finding a director. I found one, quite by accident,  a talented actress who knew how to draw the best out of me.  She was directing me on the night before the first "visit.  Those of you who've viewed my video know why we had this argument during rehearsal..which brought about the first "visit".

You must understand that I was fully committed to bringing this play out..presenting Paul to as many people as I could.  It came to me that it was one way to actually present the truth that is God's message..through Paul.

Remember he, along with Barnabas, was separated from the others to bring the gospel to the Gentiles..pagans.  The other disciples were scattered to the winds to bring the message to israel.  Paul and Barnabas were selected to go after the others in the world.  Before long, Barnabas left Paul to his own devices.  After which Barnabas' voice was not heard from. But Paul's was a clarion call to all who would heed.  And evidently very special to God, the Father.

So, I was on a crusade, you might say, to have his voice heard.  But, at the time, I figured I was alone in this effort. I never revealed to the directors what my ultimate puprose was.

And I had no idea that God, the Father was watching, ready to offer a helping hand.. bobnPaul
